Diocese Denies SSPX Couple to Become Godparents
A married couple attending mass in the church of the Society of Saint Pius X in New York was denied to be the godparents of their niece in Buffalo diocese.
According to sspx.org (May 1) the decision was made by Sister Regina Murphy, the interim chancellor of the diocese, and confirmed by auxiliary Bishop Edward Grosz.
Sister Regina wrote that the couple practices its “Catholic faith within a church that is not in union with the Church of Rome and which has rejected the absolute [sic!] authority of the Holy Father and many of the reforms of the Second Vatican Council”.
The child was finally baptized in a chapel of the Society of Saint Pius X on April 15 with the selected godparents.
The U.S. District of the Society of Saint Pius X has informed the Vatican of this and hopes [probably in vain] for a clarification.

“Gaudete et Insultate”: Francis Points Finger - at Himself
Francis’ apostolic exhortation “Gaudete et Exsultate” (April 9) has been labelled by the Internet community “Gaudete et Insultate” or "Goad and Insult".
The following quotes of “Gaudete et exsultate” are just few examples.
Francis is portraying “some Christians” who are “self-centred” and “bereft of true love”. They have “an obsession with the law, an absorption with social and political advantages, a punctilious concern for the Church’s liturgy, doctrine and prestige” (57).
However, Francis has been accused of putting himself before his office and of trying to gain prestige and political advantages by pleasing the anti-Church media and to show little love to those who try to correct him.
The exhortation hammers against those “who use religion for their own purposes, to promote their own psychological or intellectual theories” (41).

Argentinian Nun: Francis Allows Contraception
The known Carmelite missionary sister Martha Pelloni, who promotes contraception, has stated that Pope Francis told her that "responsible parenthood" requires contraceptives "in some cases" [which means: "in all cases"].
Talking to Radio Cut (April 3), Pelloni said that Francis, speaking to her about contraception, uttered three words: “condoms, transitory and reversible.”
According to Pelloni these three words mean that three types of contraception are in "certain" [read: all] cases allowed: condoms, diaphragms and “as a last resort” tubal ligation [which is often irreversible].
Francis met Sr. Pelloni on March 8, 2015 in Rome.
According to Catholic teaching the use of contraceptives is always intrinsically evil and a mortal sin punished with eternal hell.

Bishop Resigns: Because He Did not Uphold Unforgiveness Beyond the Grave
On March 26th, Pope Francis accepted the resignation of Bishop John McAreavey, 69, of Dromore, Ireland. McAreavey was pushed by the media to hand in his resignation.
His crime: As he was supposed to do as a diocesan bishop – and as Jesus Christ, the incarneted Mercy of God, would have done - he officated in 2002 at the funeral of Father Malachy Finnegan who had been accused but never prosecuted for sexual abuse.
Finnegan is described as a “paedophile priest” although the Irish Times called him in March 17 “gay”.
The resignation of Bishop McAreavey is a sign that the New Church now expects her priests and bishops to cultivate hatred and unforgiveness beyond the grave.

UN’s radical agenda pushes sex, LGBT education starting in kindergarten
NEW YORK, March 20, 2018 (www.lifesitenews.com) -- The United Nations published new “comprehensive” sex-ed guidelines for schools, taking its cues from Planned Parenthood to help teachers instruct kindergarteners in LGBTQIA+ ideology and practice.

Archbishop Oscar Romero Was A Traditionalist.
El Salvador Archbishop Oscar Romero whose canonization was announce by the Vatican, was a traditionalist and a man of the Church, faithful to its magisterium, writes Michele Ippolito on La Fede Quotidiana. Romero was shot and killed in March 1980 during Mass. Ippolito points out that Romero had nothing to do with the Communist-leaning "Theology of Liberation". Ippolito writes, "The dishonest journalists should read Romero's writings and homilies in order to grasp the traditional approach of his spiritual formation and his natural estrangement to theological newisms."
Rowan Williams, a former Anglican Archbishop of Canterbury has joined the professional atheist Richard Dawkins in attacking a policy that would allow the Catholic Church to open new schools in Great Britain. Nuncio in Switzerland, “The Old Latin Mass is the future of the Church”
“The Old Latin Mass is the future of the Church”, Archbishop Thomas Gullickson (67), the nuncio to Switzerland and former nuncio to the Ukraine, said in September during a meeting with old rite priests in Sankt Pelagiberg, Switzerland.
The quotation is reported by Father Michael Wildfeuer, a mathematician and former member of the Priestly Society of Saint Pius X, in an interview published on Gloria.tv (December 23).
Wildfeuer describes Gullickson as a very educated and easygoing American.

Moscow Patriarch Kirill has announced statistical data on the life of the Russian Orthodox Church. Since 2009 this Church has increased the number of dioceses by 144. Is The Next Archbishop Of Paris A Supporter Of The Latin Mass?
Bishop Michel Aupetit, 66, of Nanterre, a former medical doctor, will be the next archbishop of Paris according to the French Journalist Frederic Martel writing on Twitter. Martel refers to “informal contacts in Rome”.
On November 11, Nanterre Diocese celebrated the tenth anniversary of Summorum Pontificum with a Tridentine Latin Mass in Nanterre cathedral.
The Latin Mass was even announced on the diocesan website.

Cardinal Schönborn Celebrates Gay Lobby Liturgy
Vienna Cardinal Christoph Schönborn, 72, celebrates on December 1 a World AIDS Day liturgy. For the occasion the Mozart Requiem will be performed.
This "liturgy" is a political event bowing to the gay lobby. It is co-organized by “Life+”, the most influential gay propaganda organisation in Vienna. The group is headed by the homosexual Gery Keszler (54). It also organises the annual Vienna “Life Ball”, one of the biggest gay events in Europe which critics call “Death Ball”. Only in 2014 Schönborn described the “Life Ball” as “desolate” and a “pagan festival”.
Since then Keszler and Schönborn have become personal friends who meet for private dinners.

What Do Mass and Surgery Have in Common? By Dr Stuart Reiss
I am learning to serve the Tridentine mass. So far, I have served three masses at the altar of Saint Philip at the London Oratory.
The actions during vesting and the procedure remind me of scrubbing and gowning for surgery with the assistant helping the surgeon.
And the non-touch sterile actions each surgeon follows until arrival at the table and the protocol of passing instruments all akin to the events at Mass. There is a sense of drama and theatre in both. That’s probably why the place of surgery is called an operating theatre.
Both events are exhilarating in themselves, they involve suffering to bring about healing. Both, when successfully concluded, are fabulous achievements.
In mass, however, the body is Christ Himself.

Francis Wants to Join Methodists "in the Breaking of the Bread"
Christians in "our respective communities" may "strengthen one another by our witness to the faith" according to Pope Francis during a meeting with a delegation of the World Methodist Council on October 19. Methodists and Catholics do not share the same faith.
Francis praised John Wesley (+1791), the founder of the Methodists, for helping others to “live a holy life” and asked to pray that "we will be able to join one another in the breaking of the bread”, a term the Protestants use in order to express that in their liturgy no consecration takes place.

Austria, Proclaiming Catholic Doctrine on Homosexuality Is A Crime
On September 5, Günther S., the editor of kreuz-net.at was convicted in Vienna, Austria, of an alleged "incitement against homosexuals". He received a suspended four month sentence. The decision can be appealed.
In a December 2015 article, Günther S. had called practiced homosexuality “fornication” and “anomaly” in keeping with Catholic doctrine. Further he stated that syphilis is a “punishment of God”. His lawyer showed at the court that these statements are part of Catholic moral doctrine.
Judge Gerald Wagner did not question that the phrases are Catholic teaching but called them a “humiliation” of homosexuals.
In February 2015 charges were pressed against militant gay protestors who displayed in Vienna posters with the text: “Fist Christians?” Austrian prosecutors refused to start an investigation calling this "part of a pluralistic dialogue and freedom of speech".

With Francis' "Magisterial Authority": "The Liturgical Reform Is Irreversible"
"We can affirm with certainty and magisterial authority that the [failed] liturgical reform is irreversible", Pope Francis proclaimed August 24 in a speech to 800 participants of a so-called liturgical week. Francis is not known for taking the magisterial authority of his predecessors very seriously.
Francis recalled in his speech historical forerunners of the liturgical reform such as changes made by Pius X or the changes in the Easter liturgy made by Pius XII. Francis claimed that the liturgical reform helped the faithful to be not "mute spectators" but active participants.
In reality, the so-called liturgical reform was the beginning of a mass-exodus from the Church.
