Today, Leo XIV appointed Bishop Gerard Nash, 67, as Bishop of Ossory while he remains also Bishop of Ferns. The pope united two neighboring Irish dioceses in persona episcopi. Private Masses During Spain's "Chartres" Pilgrimage: The picture shows the private Masses in the Roman Rite celebrated simultaneously by the priests attending the Pilgrimage to Covadonga, Spain last weekend. Nearly 2,000 pilgrims - mostly young people and families with children - took part in it.
