Young people have the right to more traditional forms of liturgical experience, said Bishop Joel Portela Amado, 71, of Petrópolis, at a press conference of the Brazil Bishops in Aparecida, according to AciDigital.com. A journalist asked about a possible “return” of the Mass in the Roman rite and spoke about “young people who kneel to receive Communion” and “wear veils”. Bishop Joel replied it is important to consider broader trends, citing 2022 census data showing the highest number of people without religion is among those aged 19 to 39. “It’s not that they don’t believe in God. They are ‘unchurched’ - they believe in God, but lack a concrete path within the Church,” he said. Bishop Joel suggested this can lead young people to seek religious reference points, sometimes in past forms they did not grow up with. For him, such “diversity” is legitimate: “Do they have the right to be like this? Yes, because Catholicism is plural by nature, especially in a deeply plural world,” he said. …Ve
"They are ‘unchurched’ - they believe in God, but lack a concrete path within the Church,” he said. Bishop Joel suggested this can lead young people to seek religious reference points, sometimes in past forms they did not grow up with." No, actually, it's because they finally find the transcendent, the supernatural, the Divine, "the true, the good and the beautiful" in the Traditional Latin Mass, vs. the pure, horizontal humanism of the Novus Ordo. Grace operating in young, idealistic, fresh souls who want something more than what this world offers.
Acts of the Apostles 6,8-15. Stephen, filled with grace and power, was working great wonders and signs among the people. Certain members of the so-called Synagogue of Freedmen, Cyrenians, and Alexandrians, and people from Cilicia and Asia, came forward and debated with Stephen, but they could not withstand the wisdom and the spirit with which he spoke. Then they instigated some men to say, "We have heard him speaking blasphemous words against Moses and God." They stirred up the people, the elders, and the scribes, accosted him, seized him, and brought him before the Sanhedrin. They presented false witnesses who testified, "This man never stops saying things against (this) holy place and the law. For we have heard him claim that this Jesus the Nazorean will destroy this place and change the customs that Moses handed down to us." All those who sat in the Sanhedrin looked intently at him and saw that his face was like the face of an angel. Psalms 119(118),23-24.26-27.29-30. Though princes …Ve
Apostelgeschichte 6,8-15.

[Saint Teresa of Avila XVI Century AD; Avila, Crown of Castile, Spanish Monarchy/Alba de Tormes, Crown of Castile, Spanish Monarchy; Aged 67; Virgin; Doctor of the Church; Mystic; Writer; Reformer] “Chapter II ~ DESCRIBES THE HIDEOUS APPEARANCE OF A SOUL IN MORTAL SIN AS REVEALED BY GOD TO SOME ONE: OFFERS A FEW REMARKS ON SELFKNOWLEDGE: THIS CHAPTER IS USEFUL AS IT CONTAINS SOME POINTS REQUIRING ATTENTION. AN EXPLANATION OF THE MANSIONS. 1. BEFORE going farther, I wish you to consider the state to which mortal sin brings this magnificent and beautiful castle, this pearl of the East, this tree of life, planted beside the living waters of life which symbolize God Himself. No night can be so dark, no gloom nor blackness can compare to its obscurity. Suffice it to say that the sun in the centre of the soul, which gave it such splendour and beauty, is totally eclipsed, though the spirit is as fitted to enjoy God’s presence as is the crystal to reflect the sun. 2. While the soul is in mortal …Ve
"3. In a state of grace the soul is like a well of limpid water, from which flow only streams of clearest crystal. Its works are pleasing both to God and man, rising from the River of Life, beside which it is rooted like a tree. Otherwise it would produce neither leaves nor fruit, for the waters of grace nourish it, keep it from withering from drought, and cause it to bring forth good fruit. But the soul by sinning withdraws from this stream of life, and growing beside a black and fetid pool, can produce nothing but disgusting and unwholesome fruit."
Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint John 6,22-29. [After Jesus had fed the five thousand men, his disciples saw him walking on the sea.] The next day, the crowd that remained across the sea saw that there had been only one boat there, and that Jesus had not gone along with his disciples in the boat, but only his disciples had left. Other boats came from Tiberias near the place where they had eaten the bread when the Lord gave thanks. When the crowd saw that neither Jesus nor his disciples were there, they themselves got into boats and came to Capernaum looking for Jesus. And when they found him across the sea they said to him, "Rabbi, when did you get here?" Jesus answered them and said, "Amen, amen, I say to you, you are looking for me not because you saw signs but because you ate the loaves and were filled. Do not work for food that perishes but for the food that endures for eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him the Father, God, has set his seal." So …Ve
youtube.com/watch?v=USzp7zLAVGE Luisa Piccarreta "The Little Daughter of the Divine Will" ". The satisfaction that blessed Jesus receives from the meditation of these Hours is so great, that He would want at least one copy of these meditations to be present and practiced in each city or town. In fact, it would happen, then, as if Jesus heard His own voice and His prayers being reproduced in those reparations, just as the ones He raised to His Father during the 24 hours of His sorrowful Passion. And if this were done in each town or city at least, by as many souls, Jesus seems to make me understand that Divine Justice would be placated in part, and in these sad times of torments and bloodshed, Its scourges would be stopped, in part, and as though dampened. I let you, reverend Father, make appeal to all; may you complete, in this way, the little work that my lovable Jesus had me do..." So the reverence belongs not to the ministers, but to me and to this glorious blood made one thing with me because of the union of divinity with humanity. And just as the reverence is done to me, so also is the irreverence, for I have already told you that you must not reverence them for themselves, but for the authority I have entrusted to them. Therefore you must not sin against them, because if you do, you are really sinning not against them but against me. This I have forbidden, and I have said that it is my will that no one should touch them. (116) But The Dialogue says such criticism is never justified: For this reason no one has excuse to say, “I am doing no harm, nor am I rebelling against holy Church. I am simply acting against the sins of evil pastors.” Such persons are deluded, blinded as they are by their own selfishness…. It is me they assault, just as it was me they reverenced. To me redounds every assault they make on my ministers: derision, slander, disgrace, abuse.…Ve
You do not understand that the "false prophets" are not God's ministers. Jesus Himself warns us not to be deceived by the "false prophets." You use St. Catherine's true words out of context. St. Catherine is referring to those who find fault with imperfect, although TRUE, ministers of Jesus Christ. Please learn to discriminate as Jesus teaches us.
Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint John 3,31-36. The one who comes from above is above all. The one who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of earthly things. But the one who comes from heaven is above all. He testifies to what he has seen and heard, but no one accepts his testimony. Whoever does accept his testimony certifies that God is trustworthy. For the one whom God sent speaks the words of God. He does not ration his gift of the Spirit. The Father loves the Son and has given everything over to him. Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever disobeys the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains upon him.

Vatican.va that contains an archive of speeches of recent popes, altered the prayer delivered by Pope John Paul II in March 2000 in Wadi al-Kharrar, Jordan, in all languages. John Paul II concluded the prayer with the following words: "May Saint John the Baptist protect Islam." Unsurprisingly, this caused a huge scandal at the time. Archive.org has saved screenshots of the relevant files in different languages up to 10 February 2026. The new, fabricated version on Vatican.va, which John Paul II never uttered, reads: "May Saint John the Baptist protect this land." #newsHgeytapbbx

April 17th - Saint of the Day: Saint Robert of Molesme, Benedictine Abbot He walked away from comfort, wealth, and status to chase a stricter life of prayer, poverty, and obedience to God. Saint Robert of Molesme is one of those saints most people do not talk about enough, but his life changed the Church in a huge way. He founded Molesme, became the first abbot of Cîteaux, and helped spark the Cistercian reform that would shape Catholic spirituality for generations. What makes his story hit so hard is this: when monastic life around him started getting comfortable and soft, he refused to settle. He wanted more than a respectable religious life. He wanted holiness. He wanted the Rule of Saint Benedict lived fully. He wanted a life centered on prayer, sacrifice, work, and total surrender to Christ. That makes Saint Robert’s life feel painfully relevant today. In a world obsessed with comfort, image, and convenience, he reminds us that real peace is not found in …Ve
