Today, Leo XIV appointed Bishop Gerard Nash, 67, as Bishop of Ossory while he remains also Bishop of Ferns. The pope united two neighboring Irish dioceses in persona episcopi. Nearly 2,000 pilgrims - mostly young people and families with children - took part in it.
