Cari fratelli e sorelle, Non c’è nessun dubbio che ci troviamo a vivere in un mondo che è sempre più contaminato: dall’acqua che beviamo, al cibo che mangiamo, dalle relazioni con gli altri a quella con il creato. La causa, ne siamo sempre più consapevoli, si trova nel cuore dell’uomo e nelle conseguenti relazioni tossiche che crea con il mondo esterno.
È nel cuore, infatti, la radice dei mali che lo contaminano, cioè l’egoismo che non solo lo rende incapace di vivere in armonia e pace con il pianeta e con le creature che lo popolano, ma che lo porta addirittura ad
essere in guerra con se stesso.
L’uomo si rende conto che da solo, con le proprie forze, non riesce a liberarsi. Il male lo spaventa, lo paralizza, lo deprime…
Cosa o chi può aiutarlo? Le ideologie? La scienza? La tecnologia? Esse stesse non hanno potere sul cuore dell’uomo che può usarle per fare il bene o per fare il male.

Frères et sœurs, Jésus nous enseigne que la véritable justice consiste en l’amour et que, dans chaque précepte de la Loi, nous devons apprendre à discerner un appel à l’amour. En effet, il ne suffit pas de s’abstenir de tuer physiquement une personne si l’on la blesse par les paroles et que l’on porte atteinte à sa dignité (cf. Mt 5, 21-22). De même, il ne suffit pas d’être formellement fidèle à son conjoint et de ne pas commettre d’adultère si la relation manque de tendresse, d’écoute, de respect, d’attention à l’autre et de projets communs.
L’Évangile nous offre ce précieux enseignement : la justice minimale ne suffit pas ; il faut un grand amour.

Hermanos y hermanas, Jesús nos enseña que la verdadera justicia consiste en el amor y que, en cada precepto de la Ley, debemos aprender a identificar una llamada al amor. De hecho, no basta con abstenerse de matar físicamente a una persona si luego se mata con palabras y se menoscaba la dignidad de la otra (cf. Mt 5,21-22). Del mismo modo, no basta con ser técnicamente fiel al cónyuge y no cometer adulterio si en la relación faltan la ternura mutua, la escucha, el respeto, el cuidado del otro y los objetivos comunes.
El Evangelio nos ofrece esta valiosa enseñanza: no basta con una justicia mínima; se necesita un gran amor.

Bracia i siostry, Jezus uczy nas, że prawdziwą sprawiedliwością jest miłość i że w każdym przykazaniu Prawa winniśmy dostrzegać wymóg miłości. Rzeczywiście, nie wystarczy fizycznie nie zabić osoby, jeżeli później zabijam ją słowami albo nie szanuję jej godności (por. ww. 21-22). Podobnie, nie wystarcza być formalnie wiernym współmałżonkowi i nie popełniać cudzołóstwa, jeżeli w tej relacji brakuje wzajemnej czułości, słuchania, szacunku, troszczenia się o nią lub o niego i podążania razem we wspólnym projekcie (por. ww. 27-28. 31-32). Do tych przykładów, które podaje nam sam Jezus, moglibyśmy dodać jeszcze inne. Ewangelia przekazuje nam tę cenną naukę: nie wystarczy minimalna sprawiedliwość – potrzeba wielkiej miłości, która jest możliwa dzięki Bożej mocy.

Brüder und Schwestern, Jesus lehrt uns, dass wahre Gerechtigkeit Liebe ist und dass wir in jedem Gebot des Gesetzes ein Erfordernis der Liebe erkennen müssen. Denn es reicht nicht aus, einen Menschen nicht physisch zu töten, wenn ich ihn dann mit Worten töte oder seine Würde nicht respektiere (vgl. V. 21-22). Ebenso reicht es nicht aus, formal dem Ehepartner treu zu sein und keinen Ehebruch zu begehen, wenn in dieser Beziehung gegenseitige Zuwendung, Zuhören, Achtung, Fürsorge und das gemeinsame Voranschreiten in einem gemeinsamen Projekt fehlen (vgl. V. 27-28.31-32). Zu diesen Beispielen, die Jesus selbst uns gibt, könnten wir noch weitere hinzufügen. Das Evangelium vermittelt uns diese wertvolle Lehre: Es reicht nicht aus, ein Mindestmaß an Gerechtigkeit zu üben, sondern es bedarf einer großen Liebe, die die durch die Kraft Gottes möglich ist.

Brothers and sisters, Jesus teaches us that true righteousness consists in love
and that, within every precept of the Law, we must learn to identify a call to love. Indeed, it is not sufficient to refrain from killing a person physically if one then kills
with words and undermines the dignity of the other (cf. Mt 5:21-22). Similarly, it is not
enough to be technically faithful to one’s spouse and not commit adultery if the relationship lacks mutual tenderness, listening, respect, care for the other and shared goals The Gospel offers us this valuable teaching: minimal righteousness is not enough; great love is needed.

Gesù ci insegna che la vera giustizia è l'amore e che, dentro ogni precetto della Legge, dobbiamo cogliere un'esigenza d'amore.
Non basta non uccidere fisicamente una persona, se poi la uccido con le parole oppure non rispetto la sua dignità. Allo stesso modo, non basta essere formalmente fedele al coniuge e non commettere adulterio, se in questa relazione manca la tenerezza reciproca, l’ascolto, il rispetto, il prendersi cura di lei o di lui e il camminare insieme in un progetto comune.
Non serve una giustizia minima, serve un amore grande, che è possibile grazie alla forza di Dio.

Le cœur de la Loi, c'est l'Amour !
Liturgie du Dimanche 15 février, 6e Temps Ordinaire
Chers frères et sœurs, les paroles du pape Pie XII, qui, le 10 février 1952, déclarait aux fidèles réunis à Rome : « C'est le monde entier qu'il faut rebâtir depuis ses fondements, qu'il faut transformer de sauvage en humain, d'humain en divin, c'est-à-dire selon le Cœur de Dieu », peuvent nous aider à comprendre le passage de l'Évangile selon Matthieu que nous écoutons Dimanche 15 février.
Jésus, en effet, vient accomplir pleinement la loi divine et en réaliser le but, c'est-à-dire recréer l'humanité qui, à cause du péché, est devenue presque sauvage, voire inhumaine.
Et il le fait en révélant et en donnant à chaque homme et à chaque femme qui l'accueille son « Cœur », c'est-à-dire l'Amour de Dieu.
C'est pourquoi saint Paul, rempli de joie, a pu s'exclamer : « L'accomplissement de la loi, c'est l'Amour. »

Love is the Law’s heart!

¡El corazón de la Ley es el Amor!

Queridos hermanos y hermanas, la afirmación del Papa Pío XII, quien el 10 de febrero de 1952 decía a los fieles de Roma “Es todo un mundo, que necesita ser reconstruido desde sus cimientos, que necesita ser transformado de salvaje en humano, de lo humano a lo divino, es decir, según el corazón de Dios”, puede ayudarnos a comprender el pasaje del Evangelio de Mateo que escuchamos el domingo 15 de febrero.
De hecho, Jesús viene a cumplir plenamente la ley divina y a alcanzar su objetivo, es decir, recrear la humanidad que, a causa del pecado, se ha vuelto casi salvaje, podríamos decir inhumana.
Y lo hace revelando y entregando a cada hombre y mujer que lo acoge su «Corazón», es decir, el Amor de Dios.
Por eso san Pablo, lleno de alegría, podrá exclamar: "El amor es el pleno cumplimiento de la ley".

Cari fratelli sorelle, l’affermazione di Pio XII, che il 10 febbraio del 1952 ai fedeli di Roma diceva “È tutto un mondo, che occorre rifare dalle fondamenta, che bisogna trasformare da selvatico in umano, da umano in divino, vale a dire secondo il cuore di Dio”, ci può aiutare a capire il brano del Vangelo di Matteo che ascoltiamo Domenica 15 Febbraio.
Gesù, infatti, viene per dare pieno compimento alla legge divina e realizzarne le finalità, cioè ri-creare l’umanità che a causa del peccato è diventata quasi selvatica, potremmo dire, disumana.
E lo fa svelando e donando ad ogni uomo e donna che lo accoglie il suo “Cuore”, cioè l’Amore di Dio.
Per questo San Paolo pieno di gioia potrà esclamare: “Pieno compimento della legge è l’Amore”.

Drodzy bracia i siostry, słowa papieża Piusa XII, który 10 lutego 1952 roku powiedział wiernym w Rzymie: „Cały świat musi zostać odbudowany od fundamentów, musi zostać przemieniony z dzikiego w ludzki, z ludzkiego w boski, to znaczy według serca Boga”, mogą pomóc nam zrozumieć fragment Ewangelii Mateusza, który słyszymy w niedzielę 15 lutego.
Jezus bowiem przychodzi, aby w pełni wypełnić prawo Boże i zrealizować jego cel, czyli odnowić ludzkość, która z powodu grzechu stała się niemal dzika, moglibyśmy rzec, nieludzka.
Czyni to, objawiając i dając każdemu mężczyźnie i kobiecie, którzy Go przyjmują, Jego „Serce”, czyli Miłość Boga.
Dlatego święty Paweł, pełen radości, mógł zawołać: „Wypełnieniem Prawa jest Miłość”.

Liebe Brüder und Schwestern, die Worte von Papst Pius XII., der am 10. Februar 1952 in Rom zu den Gläubigen sagte: „Es ist eine ganze Welt, die von Grund auf neu aufgebaut werden muss, die vom Wilden zum Menschlichen, vom Menschlichen zum Göttlichen verwandelt werden muss, das heißt nach dem Herzen Gottes“, können uns helfen, die Stelle aus dem Matthäusevangelium zu verstehen, die wir am Sonntag, dem 15. Jesus kommt, um das göttliche Gesetz in seiner Gänze zu erfüllen und seinen Zweck zu verwirklichen, nämlich die Menschheit neu zu erschaffen, die durch die Sünde beinahe wild, ja unmenschlich geworden ist.
Und er tut dies, indem er jedem Mann und jeder Frau, die ihn aufnehmen, sein „Herz“, das heißt die Liebe Gottes, offenbart und schenkt.
Deshalb konnte der heilige Paulus voller Freude ausrufen: „Die Erfüllung des Gesetzes ist die Liebe.
Miracolo a Lourdes !
11 Febbraio Festa della Beata Vergine di Lourdes
Nel 1928 a un bambino di dieci anni paralizzato avevano ripetuto continuamente che a Lourdes Gesù faceva miracoli per intercessione della Sua Mamma. Pieno di speranza il bambino aveva acconsentito ad essere portato a Lourdes. Nonostante nulla fosse accaduto mentre faceva il bagno nell’acqua benedetta, tutti, parenti amici, continuavano a dirgli di non perdere la fede perché spesso durante la processione Eucaristica accadevano miracoli. Quella sera alla fine della processione mentre il Sacerdote con L’Ostensorio contenente l’Ostia Santa lo stava benedicendo il Bambino pieno di speranza chiese a Gesù la grazia di guarire, ma purtroppo la grazia non arrivò. Allora, deluso e amareggiato, mentre il sacerdote stava rientrando nella Basilica gridando all’indirizzo di Gesù Eucarestia disse: Gesù sei un bugiardo!
