Pilgrims Celebrate Outdoor Dawn Mass Instead of Basilica Liturgy at Covadonga: At dawn today, pilgrims of the sixth Our Lady of Christendom Pilgrimage in Spain celebrated a traditional outdoor Mass at their campsite in Sevares, Asturias. The Mass was not allowed in the Basilica of Covadonga. After Mass, the pilgrims continued on foot to Covadonga, where they concluded with prayer and the singing of the Te Deum before the Blessed Sacrament. The three-day pilgrimage, held from 25–27 July, covered nearly 100 kilometers from Oviedo to Covadonga and drew more than 1,700 participants.

Patrick Buisson, the former adviser to former French President Nicolas Sarkozy, named the Fraternity of Saint Vincent Ferrier as the universal beneficiary of his estate in a will drafted in March 2021, reports LeMonde.fr on July 4. The community follows the traditional Dominican rite. Buisson died on December 26, 2023, at age 74. He bequeathed not only his personal assets but also a substantial collection of political archives, including manuscripts, notebooks, correspondence, digital files and recordings from his years at the Élysée Palace. Archives relating to Sarkozy's presidency - including Buisson's secret recordings made between 2007 and 2012 - are at the center of an ongoing dispute. Buisson's son, Georges, has challenged the will and argues the archives are of public interest and should go to the French National Archives. There is an agreement in principle that the presidential archives will go to the National Archives, but the inheritance litigation continues. Founded in 1979 …Hafa

That's what you call a follower. Always wants to be part of the crowd and fit in. With a weak mind who can't think, for themselves and to avoid problems with them. That's a real pity. The only time you would ever see me following anyone was when I couldn't talk my friends out of something. So I would go to watch over them to try and stop any problems or protecting them. A friend of over 60 years just mentioned that to me last night in an email.
The 'Click to Pray' app, which is connected to the Vatican, exposed user information for months due to a security vulnerability, reports the unknown cybersecurity publication Dark Reading. The app, which is available on iOS and Android, is operated by the Pope's Worldwide Prayer Network, a pontifical society entrusted to the Jesuits. Dark Reading reports that the app contained an Insecure Direct Object Reference (IDOR) vulnerability. This occurs when an application allows users to request information using an account or record number, but fails to verify that they are authorised to view it. By altering these identifiers, an attacker can access other users' data because proper security checks are absent. Names and email addresses linked to over 700,000 accounts were accessible through this flaw. The vulnerability was reportedly discovered in January 2026 by an independent security researcher known as 'BobDaHacker'. He claimed that repeated attempts to notify the relevant parties went …Hafa
Mother Miriam has done a complete 180 on the SSPX: "God has established His Church, his universe, everything on obedience, everything on obedience. Children are to obey their parents, not if their parents are holy and right, in everything but sin. Wives are to submit to their husbands, not because they're holy, not because they're right, but because God has given them that position — again, in everything but sin. Religious are to obey their superiors, whether their superior is right or holier than them, or no matter what it is, they are to obey in everything. And Christ's sheep, which is us, every one of us is to obey the successor of Peter, whether we know for sure he is, whether we agree with him, whether we can point out definite heresy. If he's the Pope, then we obey in everything but sin. We don't come against him. So that's where I left it yesterday, and my heart was completely converted."
The Vatican has published new guidelines today, "Recollecting: Accompanying the Preparation of the Local Church's Evaluation Assembly," for the next stage of the Synod on Synodality. Every diocese is required to hold evaluation assemblies during the first half of 2027 to assess how the Synod's Final Document has been implemented. Bishops will lead the evaluation, establish or reactivate synodal teams, and approve a six- to eight-page narrative report to be submitted to Rome. They are also instructed to describe "transformations in decision-making processes, and reforms of structures" as part of their narrative report. Interreligious synodality Each diocese will also hold an evaluation assembly using the method of "conversation in the Spirit." The guidelines state that dioceses should consider inviting "representatives of other Christian Churches and communities or other religions as observers." Lay access to "leadership roles" The document repeatedly says synodality is not a temporary …Hafa
150-Page Dossier at the Heart of the Rupnik Case: PerMariam.com has published a timeline of the Marko Rupnik case. One detail stands out: the Jesuits compiled a 150-page dossier documenting alleged abuse by Fr. Marko Rupnik between 1985 and 2018. According to his former Jesuit superior, the credibility of these reported events is "very high."
1- In some way early abortion is more horrible than late abortion. To me early abortion is the same thought process as her immediately saying to her inner self "wow I want that baby dead ASAP" . 2- Remember that in any single instance of abortion the woman has more guilt that the abortionist because she is offering her baby to be killed so without her there would be no abortion. Of course, the abortionist is a mass murderer. 3 - I can't help thinking that if the procedure for abortion was to somehow lay the baby in the parking lot and run over it with a car...they would do that. 4 - For the religious folk(me) know that repentance after abortion is very small.
Leo XIV Promoted This Hopping, Dancing Bishop in Mexico: In January 2026, Pope Leo XIV appointed Monsignor Trinidad Antonio Márquez Guerrero, 60, as auxiliary bishop of San Juan de los Lagos, Mexico. He was consecrated a bishop on May 8. On Sunday, July 19, he celebrated a Eucharist during the diocesan Youth Day in the bullring in Yahualica, attended by some 1,300 young people. Still wearing his mitre and liturgical vestments, he started hopping and dancing around like an overexcited young person.

James Martin SJ Wants the Church to Ordain [More] Homosexual Priests: Homosexual activist Fr James Martin SJ has called on Pope Leo XIV to remove the – largely unenforced – restrictions against "celibate homosexuals" to become priests. Fr Martin believes that "sexual orientation" alone should not stop a man from being ordained. He points to Pope Francis, who said there are already many "holy, healthy and celibate" homosexual priests. However, in 2005 Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger concluded that men with deep-seated homosexual temptations should not enter the seminary because they lack the emotional maturity needed for lifelong celibacy.

"FSSPX Confessions Are Valid" - Müller Contradicts Tucho: On July 6, K-TV asked Cardinal Gerhard Müller whether confessions heard by priests of the Priestly Society of Saint Pius X are valid or invalid. Contrary to Cardinal Tucho Fernández, he replied: "The confessions are valid, but illicit. The power to forgive or retain sins is conferred through the sacrament of Holy Orders. Its exercise can only be restricted by the bishop or the Pope, as provided by canon law."
